I am so happy I decided to order these products. My skin was so dry that it was peeling and flaking everywhere. My skin would then overproduce oil that led to breakouts. It was an embarrassing battle. Then I tried the products from Poet's Garden. For the first time, my skin doesn't feel tight and dry after washing. And the moisturizer keeps my skin feeling good all day. It has been a game changer. My boyfriend comments on how well my skin is looking all the time now. Every product also smells so amazing. I recommend these products to all of my friends, and have purchased them for friends as well. My friends all have different skin types and enjoy these products, too. On top of all of that, these products are vegan. And this is a small business that supports poets as well. I honestly could not have found a better skincare brand for me!

I adore everything about this brand, especially the deep meaning and the love that goes into creating every product. I am very picky when it comes to skincare products, that's why it's so important for me to know that the founder cares so much about the customer. And that's the case with Poet's Garden.
I bought the Trio a few months ago and won't ever look back! I have dry and sensitive skin that is prone to redness and rosacea, so for me oftentimes less is more. Aloe Vera and hyaluronic acid are a MUST in my routine. I am usually careful with lavender or other oils in my skincare because of my rosacea, but The Trio has worked just fine for me personally. The products have a lovely, soothing consistency and absorb quickly, without leaving your skin sticky. If you're looking for a brand that sees beauty as something that derives from within and cares about the woman using them, then I suggest you drop everything & start ordering!

I have been using the Immaculate cleansing oil, vitamin C serum along with the day and night creams and I absolutely love them all! I am most obsessed with the cleansing oil as it is so gentle and leaves my skin glowing and moisturized. I love to add a little bit of the Immaculate oil after moisturizing to areas that are extra dry since I have super dry skin. They also smell incredible! I highly recommend these products and this brand. All of my communication with the company has also been so positive and extremely helpful. Thank you for making such great products!

I have super sensitive skin, I can’t barely use any skin care cause it makes my skin flare up and I’ve been using these products for 6 days now and my skin is looking so much better! I had redness all over my cheeks, dry patches of skin and a really uneven complexion, now everything is going away and my skin is glowing! I’m so excited to be able to feel pretty again and not have to wear makeup to cover all my skin imperfections. 100% recommend this skincare!

I love their Exfoliating Enzyme Cleanser! I love the slightly effervescent effect it has when it bubbles and first hits your skin. My skin had some hyperpigmentation and darker spots and this cleanser has really helped diminish those problems. I also have super sensitive skin so I started off using it every other day but it really is so gentle that I’m able to use it everyday after work and it leaves my skin feeling so nice, deeply cleansed and exfoliated! I will definitely buy again! Great value for how long one bottle will last! Thanks for an amazing and carefully curated product!

As a high altitude, high country Colorado resident, my face has been dry since the day I moved here. 7+ years later I have FINALLY found a product that keeps my skin soft and supple all day with absolutely ZERO greasy feeling. Right after I get out of the shower and my face is freshly washed I can't wait to put this all over my face! After using this for about a month I have noticed a HUGE noticeable change in my face. I have far less breakouts and my complexion looks consistent and clean and is STILL getting better every day. I am so happy with this product! Highly recommend.

“Poetry, photography, spirituality:
my life is about tending
to the lights and darks
in equal measure.”
Alix Klingenberg is a poet, spiritual director, and creative dilettante. She describes herself as a cross between an ethereal woodland creature and an alternative 90’s girl stereotype and is only half-kidding. Alix graduated from Oberlin College in 2003 with a degree in Visual Art where she studied film and photography but also took way too many classes in Spanish literature and personality psychology to not have it count for something. She is obsessed with people dynamics, myth, philosophy, and imagination.
After making her living as a wedding and portrait photographer for ten years, Alix returned to school to become a Unitarian Universalist Minister. She received her Master of Divinity in 2018 from Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago and began her own business as a spiritual director and creative arts minister.
Alix has been writing poetry for her entire life and remembers wanting to submit a poem to Highlights Magazine when she was 8, but never got up the courage. Alix has been writing a blog called “Highly Sensitive Extrovert” for several years and began sharing her poetry on social media in 2019.
Alix currently lives in Medford, MA with her family, 2 black cats, and a ridiculous dog named Cricket. She is queer and polyamorous and writes on themes of love & loss, sex & commitment, healing and family systems. With a passion for social justice, anti-racism, intersectional feminism, community, and the natural world, Alix writes from a place of spiritual transformation.
In her self-published book, Secrets & Stars, Alix uses magical realism and personal experiences to weave a world of shadow work, heartbreak, self-love, and wholeness. Believing strongly in the magic of everyday things, Alix helps women uncover and tap into their wells of innate, mystical waters. Alix’s poems have also been published in several literary magazines including Beyond Words International Literary Magazine, Sad Girl’s Lit Club, Tempered Runes Press, and Wingless Dreamer. Alix’s inner 8-year-old is enormously relieved it has finally happened.
