Simple Skincare Routine For All Skin Types

Life is hard enough, why should you also have to complicate your skin care routine with too many products for a certain skin type, or this and that? The truth is that you can use a simple routine that will harmonize every skin type and give you the results you've been looking for. Why make it more complicated than it has to be?

At Poet's Garden Alchemist we think simple is often better. The fewer products to apply also means fewer products you forget to use. Keeping it simple usually helps people stay on track with their home care routine, and at the end of the day, that is what matters most, consistency.

With most beauty brands & beauty stores basically overflowing their shelves with supposed "must-haves," deciding which products are right for you is harder than ever before. Stores with over 50 skincare products and "too good to be true" claims, often make beauty and skin shopping more confusing than it should ever be. Seriously, how many skin care products for a home routine does one person really need?

Taking care for your skin is necessary for both your overall skin health and slowing down the signs of aging, but with so many product possibilities, it seems nearly impossible to find the proper home care routine, or let alone, sticking to it.

The easiest way to stay committed to your "at home" skincare routine is by keeping it simple.

How do we make it simple?

Use an Oil Cleanser: The Oil Cleansing Method is wonderful for all skin types, including oily skin with unrelenting breakouts. Oil Cleansing might sound a bit scary to add to your skincare routine, we've all heard that only oil-free products keep our skin clear and beautiful. Yet now, the oil cleansing method is going mainstream. It helps calm sensitive skin or even acne! Remember "like" dissolves "like", and our skin has sebum which is an oil, so it actually needs an oil to properly cleanse the pores.

  • - Oil Cleansing lifts excess sebum & help control it.
  • - Cleanses out clogged pores (blackheads).
  • - Removes dead skin, pollutants and makeup.
  • *We recommend our "Immaculate Oil Face Cleanser".

Use a good Vitamin C Serum: Vitamin C helps brighten your skin, heal unrelenting breakouts and keep your skin protected against environmental aggressors. It firms and induces collagen production for a more youthful complexion while fighting against radical damage. You can use it morning and night after cleansing your skin and prior to your moisturizer. But if you only want to use it once per day, use it in the morning to help protect your skin against the harmful UV rays. A vitamin C serum doesn't replace your SPF! But it definitely will increase your protection.

*We recommend our "Radiant Vitamin. C Serum".

Moisturize, moisturize and moisturize! You should always use a day and night moisturizer, why? Because moisturizers not only leave your skin supple and soft, they help protect your barrier and keep your skin on top shape. Also dehydrated skin tends to over-produce oil to compensate, causing also an array of issues. When your skin is well hydrated, it helps to flush toxins more effectively because your cells are getting the hydration they need in order to properly function. Through the night, a good night cream helps repair and regenerate your skin while sleeping which is the time your skin's metabolic rate is at its prime in order to heal itself.

*We recommend: Drench Day Cream for day time use & Rejuvenate Night Cream for night use.

Fall in love with your skin again with a simple 4 step routine, you should add your favorite SPF to your Day time routine since we do not offer it as of yet. We create Skin Poetry that is efficient and easy to use for beautiful, healthy skin without complicating your life.
