The Beauty of Yoga

The practice of yoga has been around for centuries and its mind, body & soul benefits are numerous. Yoga helps curing physical mental and spiritual disorders that are caused by the imbalance between the mind, body & soul. The word yoga means union; it's a union of the individual consciousness with the super-consciousness. It reminds us of this union that already exists and has merely been forgotten.

At the physical level, yoga can create harmony among the various organs and systems of the body, allowing overall healing within the body and strengthening through flexibility & toning the muscles. At the mental level, yoga is the harmony between mind, heart, thought, speech and action. At the spiritual level, yoga aims to quiet the ego that stands between the self & the cosmos, which ultimately helps us attaining the ultimate truth.

Yoga has a set of devised physical exercises that lay emphasis on balance and posture. Combined with breathing exercises & meditation, they have the ability to bring to harmony any miss-aligmentm of the body and mind.

Yoga Asanas are simple yet effective body movements that tone the muscles, lubricate the joints. They increase flexibility while balancing the body, mind & soul.

Though it is best to begin yoga practice under the guidance of a trained yoga instructor, you can now learn to do these exercises at home with the help of videos. Once you have learned the basic asanas, you can make it a part of your daily rituals. It's always best to create a routine and find a time and place for doing yoga so becomes easier to follow a routine that brings you the best benefits.

After time you will see yourself blossoming in a way you never thought it could be possible. Your body will become beautifully toned, shapely, attractive and healthy. You will have a positive attitude and become kinder to all beings including yourself. Your life's view will become compassionate & beautiful.
